I used to have my tips further in also, but I found it coated the tailgate and bumper with soot. On a black car, I guess it’s not as noticeable.

Could be fuel pressure. Dirty fuel pump? On its way out? A faulty O2 sensor would send the ECU incorrect fuel mixture information. Might also be carbon build up in the throttle body - sticking slightly. Won’t take long to check. Give it a clean up. Worth a try. My old 182 used to be...

My lads EP9 always had the edge on my 182 in straight line performance, but handled like a boat in comparison. Both stock. Booth cool cars.

It’s doable but you’ll need to cut around your carpets and cut into the dash. You’ll lose the glovebox. I couldn’t be arsed so stripped it right back. Lots of pics if you need them.
