Same as a 172..... seen one at a dealer on the forecourt up some ramps. Imo its bollox...... 45kg of downforce?! The bumper would be ripped off!!! The diffuser is only clipped on too!. That said they do look cool, and add interest to the rear.

I REALLY wish you could make a 172 version.... The BTB would be my choice on a 182. As said, you can back up your claims ;)

it seems to me nobody can make a quiet (ish) system for the 172. They all resonate :(

Re: k-tec or magnex The new ktec is made by janspeed, fits REALLY well and is well made. The jesus is on about the old ones. ;) also it wont win browny points with him as its not made by GDI, and that means its pish ;)

hmmmm i was actually thinking about changing the Cup for one later this year..... my thinking as long as it was roughly the same speed, it would be ok. I like the fact they are pretty exclusive, and look the part with the H&R springs....... LOVE this pic :)

Did you have a 172 or 182 before the 197?. I really like the look of yours, but that power is dissapointing :(

they do feel alot better. Better quality plastics, things like gearbox are much better engineered, more precise (sp) heck, even the door handles feel much better in operation. Also the 197 has a better fitting glovebox ;)

depends if you have removed the accoustic valve first..... i had so about 20mins..... if not around an hour? Depends how handy with the spanners you are :)

@ the fly?!!!, least 172 cups make their power if thats the case..... thats. If its sold as 197 it should have at least 190 bhp.......

Small filter, (smaller surface area than standard panel filter!) the end kept falling off mine. Gives the car flat spots, and has shite filtration. All this and not far off Maxogen money

I personally think the clio is good out of the box. Sort the suspension etc job done. Anything else is a waste imo, especially major engine work.
