Why do people get scared about taking their car on long journeys? Do you expect that your car is going to have a catastrophic engine failure in the next 4500 miles? No, I'm sure you wouldn't still own it if you did. All I'd do is service, check everything over i.e pads, discs etc and drive it.

Lol! New rocker cover gasket is needed, going to try and clean off the remaining oil when I've done that, the cat is on its way out so new manifold and decat is needed. Last night it smelt of cat piss which would suggest gearbox oil, very confused tbh.

Hope my car will make it to this now. It didn't smell healthy tonight.
