    I didnt know the orange bit needed to be in too! Thanks again all. Was only meant to be an oil change, but £60 and 6 hours later, oil is changed and I have a new injector, yay.

    Yes mate, it was literally pissing everywhere which it isnt doing now. All covers etc on and now im gonna have a massage. No idea how mechanics do it, my back is killing!

    Changed the route of that cable even though it didnt seem to be intereing, and now all is good! IF ANYONE NEEDS INJECTORS FITTING, HOLLAAAAAAAA

    Injectors done, but fuel is pissing out of the feed. Its pusher in, the o ring is down..

    Nope werent in. s**t me this is hard. Tried engine oil and wd40. Cant find the vaseline!

    Fitted the new injector into the rail easily enough.. but cant get them to plug back into the engine. Put a bit of oil on the o rings but they just wone pop!

    Oi, im 'ard as nails. The injector got delivered an hour ago.. finish work in a minute and then I shall tackle the beast in the dark!

    If mint with a recent cambelt change, id be wanting more for such low mileage. Specialists would sell it for £5k+

    I am utterly clueless, happily admit it! I worked it out in the end, but knowing how easily the injector snapped and costing me £60 to fix, I wanted actual info instead of me ripping it out!

    So removed the feed, undone 2x10m bolts. How do I undo each electrical connector bit mate?

    Done step 1, I was trying to pull the tube off, I didn't realise the plastic bit was like a release.

    That was another day.. had it on the jack and my drive is a slight hill, and it pinged. The cable was goosed anyway. Struggling to get the feed off, it just won't pull! And I'm scared of snapping something else.

    So.. oil change done. Only had my toolkit since xmas, and I've already broken a handbrake cable and an injector!

    No mate didnt try as no way of getting to him. Got the oil filter off after stabbing it, moving it a cm, stabbing it, etc etc. Gonna try and get the injector off so that its ready to fit tomorrow.
