Problem with a gloss black roof wrap Chris, is that they scratch quite easily even when washed correctly. They also look a bit "flat". If you're going to go for a black roof, do it properly.
If you don't bother and decide you want it wrapping, get some quotes and give me a shout, I'll beat it.
Showed that video to a friend of mine and it turns out he knows you apparently, Adam beard he's called. Said you learnt how to drive like that from owning a corsa :P
It will be a while before I can insure one tbh. I'm paying circa £1800 on the ZS at the minute. Bad times. And yeah some cracking cars you've owned, think they are good stepping stone cars to learn to drive properly, think if I'd gone from a 1.2 and got straight in a 172 it wouldn't have...
Been waiting for this thread alex. I'm in the same boat as you have been, wanting a Renaultsport clio but insurance just not allowing it. Think my next purchase will be a 106 GTi due to insurance being extortionate!
If it's never been detailed you'll deffo want some, to save you buying some for the weekend I'll fill the bottle up I have and bring it for you to use. You'll definitely want some once you've used it.
I was extremely surprised how little tar I had on the car tbh. But it's extremely good. Can borrow it if you want? I'll bring it up with me next time I'm out. In fact, get yourself a chemical resistant spray bottle and I'll give you a bottle.
I will convince you before the year is out! Mainly because there aren't any nice ones locally and I can't afford to insure one myself so it'd be nice to see a decent example occasionally :)
Just replied saying he won't ever sell that with that attitude, for 1 it would be cheaper for me to get a higher mileage visually okay one, rebuild the engine and send the dampers off for a full refurb along with replacing any consumables.
Unfortunately I'm also out, rear bushes on the ZS are completely fucked and getting done on Tuesday night, also gotta sort beardy's website and replace the bottom arm on my mums civic whilst I'm at the garage.
LOL! Why would he need me when he has an endless supply off Ed???
And be glad to see those dampers actually fixed and working...They haven't been right since you got the car :(
Sucks big time that. And definitely, need to arrange a shoot with a few of us.
Plus Paul is only winning mine and his detailing competition because he has nice pics lol!
f**king love this car! And imho those wheels are far nicer than the cyclones. Can't help but think the plastic strip on the rear bumper needs some attention though, looks quite patchy.
And as for the lights, I like them :)
FML how you get your cars looking so good from the very few steps you listed above I'll never know. Absolutely superb.
Think my next car needs to be a 172 flamer. Although it's gotta be a ph1 for me :)
