    Not at all it's a good idea, you might want to feed new speaker wire at the same time though, get coaxials for the rear and components for the front.

    Tyre rubbing shocks

    I've got 195's on 172 alloys lowered 40mm and theres no contact on the rear. The front however needed 5mm spacers. I'll be getting 205's next anyway but not before I get some 20mm spacers. :)

    I'd raise it so that it sits just on top of the tyre so that you can see the entire wheel but with virtually no or very little gap, which is the best look imo.
