Actually thinking about it, releasing all these special editions makes sense. The Clio 200 is coming to the end of its life now, so they're obviously trying to animate the product as much as possible to get rid of them in preparation for Clio 4 in 2013.

Kinda cool though because if you want a bit of fun you can just wear the armour/carry the weapon, and if you want to do it properly you can just store them in one of your homes. I only really use it for dragons I encounter that I cba with when i'm in the middle of something.

Batteries will and are becoming better over time. 5 years ago the max range we could get out of an electric car was 30 miles, now we're up to 120 miles in some models. That isn't bad going in a 5 year time period. Electric is definitely the future.
