I had the exact same thing. Turned out to be the fuel rail guard (the slab of alloy sticking out the front of the engine) was loose and was resonating/vibrating at certain revs. Took it off and binned.

Highly optimistic. 182 bhp at best. Needs more power though judging by that boot.

Stay away from Carbon Lorraines if you don't like squealing - they hurt your ears! I had a very good 30,000 miles on a set of Pagid Blues, quiet, fade resistant and hardwearing.

No idea on the exhaust, and engine wise, it's about as far from standard as you can get, running ITBs, LSD, cams, headwork, etc.
