I doubt I will have a car for track use at the time. Do you think its worth just buying a passenger pass and hope people will take me out haha

Sounds like a top mount issue, I have had similar problems on other cars. Can they be re greased or are they sealed?

Wiggle the wires going to the crank sensor. If it's faulty it will most likely cut out. Mine did exactly the same.

Could run a few commands also like SFC /scannow or the dism commands. Is windows up to date? What's it like in safe mode?

I was going to suggest drivers and bios but you have already done that. Is there anything in event viewer? If not it could be worth doing a fresh install of Windows.
