Prices have not changed so much over here though. The £££ took the biggest hit I think.
Lenses in the UK are more expensive than over here, even though everything else is cheaper with the €. Annoying!!!

You say that but I am in the middle of selling all my kit. I have only lost £20 on two lenses (Canon 70-200 f4L & Sigma 30mm f1.4) with three years use out of one and nearly 2 out of the other. The only loss I am really going to take out of the whole thing is the camera body, but they depreciate...
I have a Jessops one. It was fine with my old 350D and kit lens but cannot support the 40D with the 24-105 on the front of it. Its worth looking into the weight rating (if there is such a thing) of the tripods before you buy.

Have you thought about setting up a blog or something similar? You've got a while to go yet and already produced some amazing stuff. It would be a good way to publish your work and I bet you'd get a lot of readers/ followers.

Nice shots. My only criticism is that the wedding dress is blown out in a couple of shots (2/4/5/6). Did you shoot in RAW or JPEG?
The selective colour shot is also nice, perhaps raise the exposure a little on the couple to give them a bit more pop?
ISO 1600, lowest aperture and longest exposure... you could not have done anything more to get more light in anyway.
Considering how dark it must have been, I think you have exposed it pretty well.
You probably did it anyway, but whenever I am taking a long exposure, I stick the camera on the...
