Hi guys old thread bump I know but just need a little advice. I plugged in the resistors to the black connection a few weeks ago and the lights on the dashboard went out straight away! Was very happy... then eventually they came back. I read about making a bad connection so I cut the ends off...

The Dell does look good, it seems as if Dell don't do their UltraSharp range in 21.5" though, well not with the thin bezel.

Thing is I think the overall conclusion is that for the sake of £5 it just isn't worth repairing lol.

I got mine custom made as they have never done a Clio RS before... for some reason it actually came in slightly cheaper that way.

Exactly mate :( it seems so simple but it's one of my main uses on my PS3 so until they add this to the current generation I see no point in upgrading!

Cheers the backing is stainless steel, got it from http://metal-monkey.co.uk and got the surround sprayed to match from Spray Shack. Although I've got a carbon fibre one to go on as I fancy a change...
