and if you want to use windows occasionally get hold of VMware and a copy of windows. either that or bootcamp.

just spoke to my friend who had this problem. said it was the fuel pump not priming properly (thinks thats what he said)

mine has done this once. it started revving and then just cut out but if i revved it myself then it stayed on. assuming its a starter motor issue or something similar (not a mechanic) or its not picking up enough fuel.
