i did this to mine. the rear panels pop out of place..literally. and then you have 4 torx (i think thats what the star ones are called) screws holding the speaker in. these unscrew and then you literally attatch the speaker wire to the rear of these and then run it into the boot. pop all the...

its the black rubber strip under the front window that makes it look pissed. if you look at the side rubbing strips all will become clear.

ive got a roll of padded tape in the back of my car. i put that on the curved section of the boot (im assuming this is the point you mean) and problem solved.
