are the brakes hot? sounds a bit like a sticking caliper
or perhaps a loose wheel/dead bearing causing the disk to move around in relation to the caliper
and by "not start" do u mean it'll crank over endlessly and not fire or not crank over at all

im currently building a B18FT volvo engine for my clio and will be aiming for around 200bhp from 15psi but the basic tuning principles applies everywhere

the battery light is more to do with the alternator than the battery directly
one side of the light is connected to 12v ignition live and the other to the alternators diode pack
when the alternator is not producing any charge the diode pack provides a path to ground and light comes on...
yer starting with the F7R defo makes more sense the heads (megane) are better to begin with so more gains to be had from the other mods
