I must admit i do think its a bit of a nightmare finding someone who I can trust to set up suspension who is fairly local. Seems a bit of a mine field.

Nope will be bearings mate. Had the exact same thing. Heard nothing until i got up to about 50-60 then I heard a droning. IIRC you can tell by jacking up the car and seeing if the rear wheel has any play in it when you wobble back and forth.
