    Makes no difference on mine, unless it's an app thats desighned to run in the background, like mapmyrun, instamapper, tunein radio etc.

    Mines on 81% and I took it off charge at 0600 this morning, phones 10 months old. Not used it that much today though, just a few texts.

    whining noise is not normal On my Focus is i switch on the rear window heater there is a noticeable load on the engine.
