I had a similar problem with my Cup last December...it turned out to be the airflow sensor/throttle housing I think. When it went it just sat "hunting" at 2-3k rpm as it was getting no messages from the sensor IIRC. Get it checked out/sorted ASAP before it lets you down on a motorway at 3 in...

Nope, ST220 is the new shape. But it is due for replacement soon.

I had the Zetec S V6 Mondeo before my Cup. 50bhp down on the ST220, but same handling pack with 18s etc. Handled like a car of that size had no right to, but was a bit gutless. Im sure the 220 is a gem.

Speak for yourself mate. Not all of us bought the Cup because it was cheaper. To some of us, less is more ;)

As can I quite happily around the big boys in their 182s and V6s ;) Driver is everything...0.2 is nothing. Theyre more than quick enough.

Soory to hear that Rob, as Day said, it was looking mighty fine at the airfield. The cars repairable though...and youre ok so not a total disaster.
