not really as when its spinning its wheels up its going to be suffering axel tramp rather than a smooth power curve which will be putting more shock though the box. they arnt bad, regular oil changes, dont launch it, blip them on downshifts, dont rush them thru the gears and they arnt bad!

if its just a replica of the 182 mani then good gains to be had, best mod i done to my old 172. being a cheap copy though its not the ideal part to be changing if it doesnt stand up very well! different if it was at the front of the engine it could be worth a gamble.

check us all judging the guy when it could have been a genuine fault. my little 200 was always warmed up, driven with mechanical sympathy and looked after and it still shat its engine at 2500miles!

stop and handbrake usually while cornering is worn discs and pads usually. missfire which has most likely destroyed the cat and lambda causing your fault code.

na they didnt give one this time, when they serviced my dci they gave me a belter, cant remember it all but basically they ticked to say they lubed the side sliding door, ticked the sidelights were working when none were fitted, ticked to say the propshaft was secure, they checked the automatic...
