It's the same story on UK trackdays, it's quite easy to 'humble' people in much quicker cars. All you need is decent tyres and a bit of track knowledge and you'll be as quick as half of 'em lol.
I went round in my mates turbo'd Valver, probably the best experience in a car in my whole life (Except Becky in Asda carpark, but that's different)
My mate had been before and knew the circuit pretty well, add this to the fact his Valver was EPIC... Totally dialled, trick suspension, massive...
Don't usually do spotted threads but I was in Bristol Friday and saw an RB182 parked up and a Silver PH1 at some traffic lights that looked lowered.
Both looked pretty tidy :)
I love how Europeans spent the last few decades perfecting the art of rallying only for the Yanks to come along, ermm... 'See how far we can jump one'
Typical Yanks, but an impressive 'stunt' all the same :)
I ruined a redtop turbo Corsa the other night, it didn't handle and he couldn't get traction on the damp road. I went past while he was 'spinning up' and by the time we'd got to a bend I was gone!
On a dry, straight road though I'm sure it'd be a different story!
As I've already said... Amazing shots there, Adele!! :D
I had a quick look through your Flickr account and was blown away by the quality of your pictures, you clearly have a gift!
I have a DSLR myself but have nowhere near the same level of knowledge! Your photography has inspired me to get...
...This guy got it right!
My shopping list would include...
- Coilovers
- Removal of rear Clio badge
- Paint the bullets and diamonds black
- Small spoiler just to finish it off (not the Cup one!)
