ive removed my rear platforms, makes a difference, and i took the rubber hat off the top, just clunks abit more, sorry after reading your question, are you sure its not because once jacked up, the rear axle is at a completey different angle to when it is sitting on the floor??

IIRC theyre not accually strut braces, they dont connect to the top of the strut, but to the inside of the chassis instead, and theyre only for mounting harnesses to, they dont actually act as a strut brace.

i wouldnt be supprised, think the koni adjustables are abit out of my price rance, looking at more the apex or gmax ones,

when lowering 60mm or more, everyone says to change the shocks, can anyone recommend the best shocks to use if lowering 60/70mm?? was thinking maybe these...

how can a correctly fitting torx bit not 'grip'?? have you rounded the bolts off? get a slightly smaller socket and a hammer, then a very long bar to turn it

hammerite smooth?? though could possible crack due to the movement of the metal

nah i see what you mean, the rears are nearer the arch, but the front sills are alot nearer the floor, i can never win :'( hence y i was shying toward level sills more.

oh god, dont say that, im anal enough as it is, problem is, the front bumpers (with splitter) is lower, ^ if thats what you meant by flush with sils, however, the front arches are much bigger than the rears, im going for overall ride height,

unless you have streched tyres, your going to hit something, roll the archers, or get smaller spacers.

spoiler?? not sure what comes on the DCI, but the 172 has a colourcoded dynamique spoiler, colourcoded wingmirrors, door strips and door handles? are you going to put the bullets and sport badge on?? and yes it is all straight fit

hubcentrics mate, they bolt to the hub, but have threads cut into them, and theyre have a spigot built into the spacer to take the weight of the wheel, cough up £10 for membership, theres some for sale on there atm i believe

wouldnt have thought theyd change the design of the springs for the 1.4/1.6, not bothered about height or performance tbh, just want them to fit lol
