Firstly... are these the same thing?
Need to get one as changing the manifold/CAT ring didn't help unfortunately! Does anyone know how much Renault charge and if any where else does them cheaper?
Shame K-Tec don't seem to stock them as they got the other part in for a great price. Cheers...
Yeah I ain't quite got the money yet unfortunately! Gotta limit myself with Christmas around the corner, shame... probably be gone when I can afford it lol.
Okay just went out to put some more water in my jets (for the first time!) and in the freezing cold, in the dark, with my tiny camera light... I couldn't find where to put the water for my washer jets? :quiet: help, lol!
Yes just got home and had an email from David waiting for me! Very helpful so far...
He recommends the Gaz suspension set up for the 182, haven't heard that name on here a lot, any opinions?
Will be a couple of months before I decide what to get first but at least I have the prices in my...
Yeah mate done this, as I said got a reply for suspension but not for the exhaust yet! Maybe I'll get a reply monday.
I bet a local exhaust place would want more than £50 to fit though? But then weighing up the petrol it would cost to get to K-Tec you might be right...
Heard about quite a lot of gear gaitors breaking, mine has! 05 plate on 47k. Also have a very annoying squeak from the boot since I put my ICE in :( apart from that seems okay so far, but I've only been driving it a few months!
Only one hour really? My custom exhaust on my 206 took em 4hrs+! But then that was fitted free as I bought it from them...
I'm trying to decide whether to go to my local place again, Pipecraft, £350 fitted mild system apart from stainless backbox, or £475 completely stainless... fitted...
Damn, my mate hit a dear in his two week old Renaultsport Megane!
Didn't f**k it quite as bad as that though, but still still in four figures worth of damage.
Note: I know you obviously won't, but do not take it to Toomey Basildon! Four weeks to repair light, bumper and door
No my problem is not the normal one lol. It got so bad it wouldn't go above 10mph in any gear! So didn't drive it for a few days. I've ordered a manifold to CAT fitting kit (found it nearly half price on K-Tec!) as mine was worn and basically giving off the fault as I had a hole in my exhuast...
Okay cheers I've heard that induction kit mentioned a few times...
What's the lowest I can go though? Is 60mm avaliable? Think I've seen at least 50mm kits around, I'm just asking because for instance on Corsasport somone makes 100mm kits :quiet:
Update today:
Went to the garage after work... I have some ring in between the exahust which has worn away which basically gives the exhaust a gap (might be why I'm getting such crap MPG!) it's £37 + VAT from Renault  but we're gonna give that a go first, lamda sensor will be the second try!
Didn't know which section to post in as I'm asking about two things, hope that's okay...
So I'm about to apply my first proper mod to my Clio, I'm deciding between an induction kit and lowering. If I were to go for the induction kit, what's the best, most powerful one to get? Read a few...
Just to update this:
Problem got so bad today couldn't drive back to work after lunch so had to get a lift back
Anyway, ran Clip on it and it came back with lots of errors, however most of them cleared apart from "Upstream oxygen sensor heating circuit" & "Upstream oxygen sensor...
Only bought my car in August, where it passed the MOT thanks to the garage... but I reckon they did me over, because a month later I put it through an MOT test at work and it failed on emissions (badly!)
Is there a common part that goes to make the idle test fail? Was about 3-4 times over the...
When I got my custom system made on my peugeot it was too loud for me... I was actually told it would get louder over time!? I booked it in the next week for a silencer to be added, didn't make a huuuge difference but took the edge off!
You definitely get used to it in the end, I miss it now...
