i found the Paradas EXACTLY the same as you. EPIC dry grip, but equally epic wear rate... mine lasted 6k. and they really were buggered by then! i stick with the PE2's because imo they are 80% as good in the dry and 100% better in the wet. they also wear a lot better, although i never tore...
