You do. I tried multiple tips, Sony silicone ones, aftermarket, none would stay in place for any length of time. And reading various reviews, it’s not an uncommon issue.
They sound great, although not the best out there. And they do need to be eq’d, the out of the box sound is odd.

I think you’ve misunderstood. A lot of cars have fake exhaust trims, what they’ve done with the cooper s isn’t fake. That’s my point.
There isn’t a twin pipe option on the new one afaik.
And it’s better than the totally hidden exhaust, which a lot of the new minis have.
No benefits to a hard top these days. Latest soft tops have just as good NVH, cheaper lighter and almost impossible to keep the folding hard tops leak proof.
