Gave Sargara's new 200 cup a quick whip over on Saturday, followed by EGP and 2 coats of was.
As expected it came up like new being only 250 miles old!
Also gave the megane a quick wash whilst the cup dried properly. Safe to say I think I've bought the wrong car! Never really liked 200's, even...
I understand you're into it more than me dude, I'm past that due to not really having the time.
And you're not coming across as a c**t.
I'll happily put on his car whatever he wants, if he wants to spend £100 on stuff then fair play to him, as I said I just mentioned those products as they're...
Neither of us are Pros (probably pretty obvious!) But my opinion of EGP was something decent for 'the masses' as such.
I honestly don't see how it will cost more money in the long run and be detrimental to the paintwork, I'm not trying to remove defects etc, purely just want to coat the paint...
Talking in riddles to me mate to be honest!
Whats wrong with EGP?!
I no longer have a machine polisher, so just going to be by hand.
Products I listed are just what I've got on the shelf so thats why I mentioned them.
I'm the guy who James has asked to do his car basically.
This is what I was going to do:
Wash and dry, megs shampoo gold stuff.
Then some EGP.
Then 2 coats of Chemical Guys Paste Wax.
Obviously I have a good wash mit, drying towels, applicators etc but thats the basic theory.
PersonallyI...
Not a lot at all!
Dropped the car off Friday. Rang Monday and they couldn't find a problem so I went in Tuesday, took the car out with a Tech to demonstrate the problem and he agreed it wasn't right, booked it back in when we got back and bobs your uncle.
Picked the car up from the Stealers after having a new gearbox under warranty. Also got a clutch kit fitted as well since the labour was free!
Put up a temporary garage for it as well to keep it out of the s**t weather, I don't drive it much so don't want to end up cleaning it more than I drive...
Dave,
on my 182 I had Sportlines and std dampers, then H&R's, then AST's, then back to sportlines. Best for English roads were the sportlines! H&R's were to soft on the rear for me. The AST's wern't what I expected either, not worth the cash in my opinion.
Depends what you're after, if it's...
Not sure what's wrong!
Got a connects2 kit to the standard headunit, and bought a spanking ipod nano last night. Plug it in and it plays, skips etc fine. But then if I pause it via the hand controls, then unpause it, I have to press play on the ipod itself for it to play again?
Am I doing...
^ Never thought about that dude, good thinking!
Although I have seen this:

Comes with the fitting kit too...
A few pics from today after fitting my private plate, finally feels like my car now!!
Only mods so far are Ktec Panel filter, Ipod lead to standard headunit and the plate. To come in the future will be Stage 1 remap, an exhaust or just some minor work to the standard one, black wheels...
