I got caught out with this at my local GSF.
They had been selling pairs for the price stated as one for years, just happened to work it out when I got a set of rears for the 182, so it actually worked out to be more expensive to have them from them over Renault for rear discs!
#1 - Red is the spot pad, finishing one. Either SFX 1 or 3, whichever is softest (I can never remember whch way round it goes.
# 2 - Is as above, Menzerna as said above. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing/menzerna-polishing-pads/menzerna-polishing-pad/prod_213.html
#3 - Lake Country pad...
My cousin actually said he was going to work it out but couldnt be bothered!
The ramp is an exact copy of a red bull FMX ramp. But the downramp needs to be a lot longer / not as steep so modifications will occur.
Flat out in second gear on a 250cc will make you cover 65 feet according to the...
You'd be surprised. My cousin on the bike is stupidly good, never got any other videos of him thrashing about but he knows how to ride.
I'm nothing special but know how to wring the neck of a crosser well enough.
Well over the past few weekends me and my cousin and a mate designed and built a Free Style MotoCross ramp! Took it all to his house thos afternoon, put it up and had a bit of a play!
My cousin wanted the first go so off he went, 15 foot gap, hit it low down in second gear...
Big updates today!
Rearsets were 100% right, I was just being retarded in fitting them, they look awesome once on!
Anyways, got the wheels back with new bearings and my tyres, so refitted them. fitted my Titanium Akrapovic, had a bit of a tweak about on it. Got my tank from the bodyshop so I...
^ No need dude.
H&R and KW don't go low enough for your tastes. I had H&R's before the AST's.
AST's (what I had) obviously do, but are mega money and not worth it.
KTR/Raceland/etc for show.
KW for go.
Unpractical in all but the last one where it's on level ground.
The first ones were the car resting on the tyres/arches, so the car wouldnt move, that was just as I fitted them.
The one in the carpark is pretty much as low as physically possible for a 182 on 195/45/16's, but speedbumps were...
That's never been low, this is low...
(thats even with the front wheels sat on 50mm of timber!)
In all seriousness though, yours looks mint! Good effort.
Need some help please.
I'm due an upgrade, but not sure where to go!
I use a phone for calls, texts and checking emails. Nothing more.
Used to have a 3G iphone until I broke it, and got on fine with an old nokia. Internet isn't a priority on it, as I'm not that fussed.
Need:
decent...
Been a long time since I updated this!
I've fitted the new head bearings in the bike so another job sorted.
Had the lower forks resprayed in black.
All my bits will be powder coated this coming week hopefully.
Need to decide on graphics, once I do they fairings will be dropped off to the...
No dude, but they are in much better condition than I remember them being!
Up close theres a few patches of bubbling and some burnt on brake dust, but from a few feet away you'd struggle to notice. Feels a lot more lively and happy back on the 15's too :)
Haha, I'd still need to stop off...
Was a bit fresh, nothing Vtec can't handle though ;)
Erm, not too sure to be honest, I just drove around and turned onto roads that looked fun!
I remember (in no particular order)
Melbourne
Swad
Gresley
Donnington
Burton
Alvaston
Littleover
And signs mentioning the 3 'shires all along...
Decided to keep the DC2 for a bit longer now, not had much interest which I'm putting down to the time of the year, so thought I'd get a bit more use out of it.
Just fitted a new airfilter to it, new Windscreen and Seals being fitted tomorrow. Oil and filter change due when I can be bothered...
Heavy old tanks too the DR's!
I used to scare myself on my feild bikes when I was on my own....never learned though!
Really wanting to get myself one of these for a daily runner, I think they are awesome!
