172: Climate, xenons, auto lights/wipers, heat reflective windscreen, alcantara interior (seats and trim). Later 172's also have cruise control with integrated speed limiter.
172cup: gets none of the above, boggo cloth seats. Also dumps ABS.
They'll drive the same, but the 172 will have xenons and climate. Cup with climate is pointless, you lose a big chunk of the weight saving. Also you lose ABS, which I'd always prefer to have on a road car.
In fairness, there were were some pretty expensive/low cars that made the journey in/out just fine. Love the Twingo, but you'd probably get left behind on the mway's!

There's a few yt vids of the prototype knocking about, looks curvier than the current car. Twin turbo v12 made specifically for the car, by amg I'm guessing.
