I found a 21mm spanner easily from my local tool shop :S
I got them to run the top mounts off completely, then wire brush the threads and then just do them up again a bit so I could get home.
Then once off I cleaned the threads up nicely on the shock and inside the top mount, then as said...
I had this with mine, ended up taking it to my local garage to crack them off and then finger tighten to get me home.
Once you have done it put some copper slip on the top top keep them clean, thats what ive done with mine.
Haha, that CRX is terrible!
No offence but you need a serious lesson from your dad about how to make a car look good! Splitter and turini's would be a good start....
I've got a silver 182.
In order I would have chosen:
Yellow
Arctic blue
Racing blue
Black
Silver
lol!
All the ones I went to see were dogs, this one came up and was spot on condition, price, mileage, age, history wise. I love it now though, it's nice and subtle at first glance.
This angers me quite greatly!
I get around 30mpg in mine on my usual trips, maybe get around 40 on a decent run!
So many ideas with stuff going through my head at the minute, have thought about going to a DCi even though i love the 182.
Got a 3/4 plate coming for the front of the car, but want to velcro it on so I can swap it round easily enough to the standard plate.
Will normal stuff still work, sticky stuff on each side?
Sure I've seen some people on here with them?
I use mine mainly for short journeys to work and back in the week, 6 miles each day. And on the last tank I averaged 31mpg.
I think 35mpg would be easy on a decent drive, if not higher, provided you arent thrashing the tits off it.
But, a 2.0 petrol hot hatch shouldn't be your car of choice...
All that wasted money, and then you decide to sell it!
Chin up with the big minus you'll end up at, should have spent the money servicing it and not spraying random shite orange!
And in order to stop it being deleted, take it to standard to cut your losses.
Thing is, coilovers will be a long way off, if they come at all to be honest....but I do like them!
Waiting for individual pictures when he gets back home.....
I like them, different.
Plus I want to do some trackdays next year, 15's = cheaper tyres, plus they are a lot lighter than the cup wheels.
(I love your new car by the way!)
Marky you are a full on legend by the way, in the excitement I forgot to thank you :D
The 182 cup offset is 42 right?
Waitey you should have a pm in a second...
