Can someone please photoshop these wheels on my car please?!
Also, could you take it down a fair bit lower on another pic please.
I know the pics arent at the best angles, but anything would be good :)
Buy a pug mk2 307 splitter.
Search for my 182 pics, cost me £35, flexible so won't shatter and looks good to me.
Not 100% perfect for but wouldnt tell unless you looked closely.
Too much time on your hand paul :)
I changed all my pads this weekend, easy job so if yours need doing I'll happily give you a hand.
Also took a few pics of my exhaust so I'll pm them to you when i get round to uploading them!
It's not as unsafe as people think to a limit, obviosuly the pic shown will be, but I have a few mates who do drifting to competition level, BDC and EDC and they use pretty heavily stretched tyres sideways at 90mph with no problems. Most of these tyres are cheap part worns or worse so they are...
Let me know when you go out again mate, if I'm free then I'll come along for the drive!
Just been out tonight bedding in my new front and rear pads, I hate not being able to late brake so need toi get some more miles on them!
I paid just over £6k for mine, same car but only £35k on the clock.
buyers market at the minute, seems most people wanting to buy these type of cars are young lads like me who aren;t bothered about insurance/fuel/tax etc!
I have a few mates who know their stuff about cars, do a fair bit of motorsport based stuff so should be able to get them to help me out, but just wondered if there was anything in particular to check for.
I see your point about a pro though, i trust them if they say they know what they are...
Thanks for the help :)
Do you need any special tools to bleed the brakes, never done it before but wouldnt mind having a blast myself, good thing to know how to do in my opinion.
If you can afford it do it!
I'm 19 with 2ncb and pay £1800 for a modified 182. If you can manage to wait until you are in the same position I was then would be better, but they are awesome cars, and for me well worth the insurance tag, especially considering I paid more at 17 for a 1.2 16v!
When I first got my 182 I thought the brakes were brilliant, really bit well. But after a bit of a drive fter the gym tonight i had major fade and I hadn't been pushing them stupidly hard, or even for a long amount if time, maybe 5 mins tops!
Just wondered if it's just because I have got used...
Hard to quote a price if i'm honest, havent got a clue about material prices and what you would value your time at.
I would want some unpainted as I'd decide on a colour myself.
Don't sell yourself short, should be a good service for people with screwed wheels so make sure you see a little...
You sound like a right chav.
No way will a 1.2 go 120mph actual speed, i'm guessing you've got some fat 17's on it so they'll mess up the speedo reading a treat so thats where your 120mph comes from, the top speed is 106mph according to Renault, and they don't have the power to hit the limiter...
As long as you make people aware of this then it's upto them, although I see your point.
What do they feel like to hold? I would definately be interested in a pair, I like the CF ones but think they would be a bit out of place in an otherwise standard interior, whereas I could just spray these...
Don't do it paul, if you damage the seats you'll be gutted!
I scratched the leather near the rear headrest on mine picking up some timber for my dad, never again! Gutting feeling when you notice it, then have to pull off the stuff and make it worse, but no other way :(
I know the DCI's, 1.4's and 1.6's have heavier steering than the 1.2's, but I was still under the impression that they were electric, and only the sports were hydraulic?
Haha, it's not a mansion mate, only 3 bed! Just used to be a pig farm so got the yard at the back, garage, carport and barn!
Thanks, I love the car! But alloys and coilovers are a long way off currently, no money!
What do you mean the house? Lost me mate!
