    There will be some drain, but it will be in the mA range. Your meter looks a decent one so it shouldn't have a problem reading the lowest of readings.

    Do you have the probes in the correct comm ports on the meter?

    Have you got the meter on the correct amps setting? Should be Amps direct current.

    Unplugging the power to the injector won't be a problem, safety wise.

    P0300 is random cylinder misfire. It'll be one of the other injectors but it's not telling you which one 😂 When it's idling, unplug each connector one by one to see which one doesn't make a difference.

    Are all the pins good on the connector? It must have disturbed a bad one.

    Lift the lid off the fusebox next to the battery and you'll see it at the bottom.

    Just realised I'm talking about a different white plug 😂 That one in the picture is on the UCH, which pretty much controls the electrics side of the car, like lights, wipers, locks...

    A good one to prevent corrosion is ACF-50 spray. Get the aerosol version. I've gone through most of the connections in the engine bay with the stuff. It's 100% safe for electrical stuff.

    The white connector is basically for the whole injection computer system.
