I've got the ones from my 182 as they were in near new nick when i chopped the 182 in for the R27..

It's basically a mk1 rallye with a 1.6 8v in it...will rinse stay with and probably pass 172/182's... 122bhp in a car thats under 800kg's standard...ace!! It fairly dances through the corners too, now power steering, no abs, a drivers car if ever there was one!!

Don't hate... Theres been a few 1.2's on here over the years that have been known to give 172's a hard time round a track.. I used to take my old 1.2 16v on meets/drives with the 2.0L boys and it stuggled a bit on the straight bits but round about the twisty parts it wasn't far behind so...

Can't really see them too well in the pic but you get the idea.. Casson, they perform much better and they sit below the viewing area of the screen. I noticed a big difference from the normal wipers that my 182 had to when i got my 197 which came with flat wipers as standard. My old 182:

197...an all round better package and thats coming from someone who's owned both. 182's are getting very dated looking now... its now a 7 year old design.. Oh and the fact that the 197 especially the R27 has far more road presence than the 172/182 is a big + for me and most others who own them..
