I wouldn't know where to start mate... Il clean it up and see if i can see anything first... If not i think il take it to grays house and he can take it to bits for me. Is it worth just buying a new gasket as they are only 7 quid from renault... the pictures are underneithe the air filter thing :o

Basically my car is leaking coolent. I think its from the thermostat housing but i dont know what i need to replace as the thermostat thing comes in 5 pieces :( Does this look like its leeking from a gasket or does it look like something else? Thankyou :)

the PTFE is designed to stop the heat transfer between the cylinder head and the inlet manifold, hence reducing the intake temps and giving better throttle responce.

Iv got the new uni body macbook mate and i would never look back to windows. so quick and They are just so easy to use and definatly worth the money IMO. However you said you want it to be cheap? Macs are not! It might be worth you looking into booting a normal laptop with the mac osx as that...

lol ok mate i will do. Any ideas on how to change a gasket on a thermo housing because i think gray is going to attack it and i dont think he is too sure what to take off.

get them to mix it you in halfords mate. if you have the paint code they can do it.

its what is underneith the airbox/header tank. I looked down and can see it is pissing coolent all over the place - All i know is its the thermostat housing. I think i just need to replace the gasket on it.

standard setup on the 1.2/1.4 etc is pretty good tbh! I would reccomend keeping the standard disks and just upgrading the pads. Heard bad things about greenstuff pads though. Dont know if its the same on the none rs models.

Is it a pig of a job? Airbox off and just swap it or something? Do I need to drain all the coolent and put new stuff in? Never done it before and just want to confirm the correct way to do it :) Luke.
