yeah, just trying to get people interested in it really.
im doing it all at home aswell so really it depends on people dropping off and picking up, 1 a weekend would be good at the minute just for the extra bit of money though!
was quite surprised how motivated I was, normally cant be bothered...
James, my dads got a decent compressor that I am relying on for the pressures, although I could treat myself to a proper gauge?
Also, I check all of the tyres every 1/2 weeks everytime i clean my car just to be on the safeside, like you say the lower temperatures have affected the tyres but...
hmm, took me about 3.5 hours in total but I wasn't rushing through it.
Charged her £30 which is a fair price I think, car was so nice!
I washed it, 2 bucket thing.
Then the interior, hoovered, steamed the seats, windows, washed everything down etc.
Then went around the outside with some...
Was bored at work the other day so put a little advert up on the intranet for cleaning peoples cars for them.
Got a reply back straight away and cleaned a nice womans Audi A3 yesterday, washed polished and waxed, then full interior stuff aswell.
It was absolutely ditched yesterday when it came...
When manufacturers state the tyre pressures should they be set without any weight on the car? i,e. the car jacked up on that corner whilst the air is put in?
Surely correcting the pressure with the weight on the car will give an innacurate reading?
i bought my first clio with chopped springs, never really had a problem with them to be honest.
was funny as i found out the car had no service history and renault sold it as fully serviced, then i found out about the springs after it was sold to me with a full MOT, needless to say i didnt use...
Re: 20mm and 300 Miles....
looks cool.
just a thought jord, bang some tape over the holes in your doors, imagine how annoying it will be with a little stone in there rattling like fook!
I always give the car a few second to idle once I stop, nothing special just while I sort my seatbelt out and put phone on pocket and take face plate off my stereo.
I also give it a minute or so when starting it up in the morning to just level the idle out a bit so its ready to drive, didnt do...
i got some dark blue 'renault' ones from ebay made by 'top gear' or some shite, nice fit, elastic around the seat base and have velcro sides for the airbags.
work a treat and don't look chav!
i would think lower pressure means it is sucking more air through so the air pressure cannot keep up with the sucking rate?
seems the logical explanation but not sure if it is right.
awesome!
please sell it to him because i've been promised a go in it!!
good luck with the sale and the decision of the V6, although personally a Cat D one wouldn't be my choice...
LY08, have you had a lad called Kieran come to look at your car yet?
He's a mate from works' boyfried and im pretty sure the one she described was this, has he bought it?!
ive seen this, the rear swing arm is made by a company just down the road from me, so fast but too loud to use on the road in my opinion.
literally cannot hear anything when it is within 2 miles of you, cool as hell though!

any good?
yeah i know, unless my mum was driving it!
did a vid on my phone of my speedo and it was 10-11 seconds including hitting the limiter in 1st, obviously not the most accurate way but miles better than 13 seconds!!
vts's don't have aircon mate.
and as dink says you probably will die or be seriously injured in a saxo, wheras a similar accident will see you walking away.
however being young i'd choose the vts i think, hard choice though.
worth the risk? all the money you will loose if they do notice, which they should do.
you must be gutted mate and i feel for you but this is why you should declare all mods.
:dapprove:
Coming up is the 36k service and aux belt, i've emailed a few places for quotes but I'm guessing at maybe £250 worth of work including some brake work?
Need some new wipers.
2 new tyres and fitting.
Some damage sorting out which could be upto £200
Pc'ing but it's pretty bad so up...
