Picked up and fitted my new headunit earlier, fitted absolutely perfectly! It's an ebay special but cheap, and in absolute prfect condition, the bloke even bought a new cage before he sold it so all perfect!
Ran all the wiring for my sub and amp coming later on this week so all went well!
^ shut it, lol!
Can't wait to get all the bits for it now!
Gonna run all the wiring in the car through the week, pickup the headunit when i get in touch with the bloke, then hopefully my sub and amp will have arrived on friday ready to go in!
Then just get the wheels delivered and bored out...
Well after being set on getting rid of my dynamique I've decided to keep it, low running costs are a winner to be honest!
So anyways today I decided to have a bit of a flutter to make me love it again!
Bought an Alpine headunit, Ryans sub and amp for a few more tunes.
Then getting some new...
Noce one mate.
When you say good on fuel how do you mean, my cousin has one and his is terrible, 260 miles out of a full tank and he doesn't drive it particularly hard.
Try elsewhere mate, at 21 with 2 no claims it should still be a decent price elsewhere. Try Adrian Flux and Greenlight.
Although as ClioKhunt says it came standard and warranty work would still be carried out, so that to me would say it is standard, non altered from the manufacturers spec.
How old are you mate?
Get some quotes with just the 2 no claims, then ring them up with the quote number and ask if you can use the 2 other no claims and you'll pay straight away.
Although tht cup packs aren;t counted as mod's are they, just don;t tell them!
Getting a new aerial on the house soon, I'm sure one of my mates said something about a digital aerial or something, to be honest I haven't got a clue if there are different types etc....
Just bought myself a nice HD TV so I want to be able to get the best quality picture, is there a specific...
After all the threads about this the last few days I thought I may as well have a look how bad it was for me.
I'm 19, 2 years no claims, non fault claim, 3 points SP30, live in a 'D' cateory postcode. Got the quote for an '03 172 worth £5.5k, fully comp in my name.
Cheapest quote was £1768...
My mate used to have an E28 to drift in, was an awesomely clean car, then he fucked it up completely and modified it to be lightweight in a terrible way, such a waste of a nice car!
I've timed mine 0-60 between 10 and 11 seconds. Not too bad at all, at the end of the day it's only a little shopping car. Got to laugh at all the sport owners taking the piss, everyone has to start somewhere with a car!
Just wondered in all honesty, got 3 points so don;t fancy anymore so I always stick to the speed limit, but at the same time I don;t want to be pissing other drivers off stuck at 55 in a 60 if my speedo is out by a mile.
I could buy a road angel etc but to be hoenst I'd rather not as it would...
According to this site:
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
the difference between 185/55/15 and 195/50/15 is 1.5% too fast, so when the speedo reads 60pmh it is actually doing 59.1mph, so not much difference, although I suppose it will add up later on in the speed range.
Beef - all depends on whether the radius is the same as the standard tyre size.
I checked doing constant speeds for a few miles, so definately way out.
Edit, j6 they will be, but 5mph at 50, then going a lot more above that speed seems a lot?
I'm pretty sure thats impossible with standard gearbox + standard rev limit + standard wheels, plus the fact it hasn't got the power to hit the redline in 5th...
Had my cousins sat nav over the weekend, and my speedo seems to be stupidly out, I know sat navs may read slightly under due to time delay, but my speedo is telling me 55mph and sat nav saying 50mph, and this gets much worse over the speedo....
Are they all this bad?
I have 195/50/15's on...
