I could only personally recommend defined details. Gordon is imo the best of the best in central Scotland, and by such a long way, whether your mate wants to wait time wise is dependent probably.

Great choice, I get a semi using that gearbox, I took my cousins a good blast last week and the MP215 kit is a well worthwhile upgrade, it also needs the front splitter badly!

Hydro lite is easier to use as a QD in fairness, also lasts longer when applied to a dry car but for ease of use... it's a wonder product.
Oh and the Gtechniq stuff... I think people found out about 4 years ago.
