read something on here the other day about the speed thing being a speed sensor... i dunno where its located though...
kind of adds up though, no speed = no miles on clock = nothing for the trip to work out your averages etc.
this happend with my alpine aswell..
you need to swap the constant live around... forgot what i did but thats why its doing it... the constant live is the yellow wire i THINK.
for a start the second one has a faster processor so that will run alot quicker than the laptop...
The second one also has more ram which means you can do more at the same time on your comp as it will be able to handle apps better.
Basically the desktop will perform faster/hold more data than...

g220 is safer.. ie a lot harder to rip your paint off (although it can be done)
make a mistake with a pc and you'll be fecked... hence why the DA polishers are a favorite for beginners.

what im tryin to say paul is every one has different preferences. i apply srp by machine as its easyer than using a microfiber. and it looks the nuts...
pads come in two sizes(mainly). to make it simple big and small.
you need the bigger ones to get the large areas and the smallers ones for the smaller areas.
you can buy any pads for the machine its the backing plates you need to change. small backing plate = smal pad and vice versa.

as a beginner myself i would honestly say YES. so easy to use if you take your time and the results are amazing. there are better polishers EG a proper rotory but as far as DA goes id...

it might be worth going to halfords and getting some more cv boot greece aswell and pack it back up as its lost quiet a bit by the sounds of it.
if there is a split in the gator its more expensive eto fix.
if its just the clip thats come loose, prise the clip off and buy a new jubalee clip and replace that.
