loss of power due to the induction of less dense hot air by the engine. it's why many people, myself included have a cold air feed into the filter.

lol subframe for a decat?! nice one. even if it has two lambda sensors just unplug the post-cat one anyway. you have to reach up under the cat's heat sheild...just follow the wire to a block connector.
