Hi people! Thanks for looking in on another detailing thread! Thought i'd best grab some images of this one as I knew the paint transform with a decent detail. Not much of a write up, you've seen it all before! A friend called in a big favour for this one, the R itself was in decent condition...

The gearstick was one of the first things I noticed.

It's in the sticky section mate, I think a lot of people don't notice it!

I hated the mk4 the minute I realised they're still using leftover parts from mk3s on the interior et al. Oh and the new Golfs are not boring, drive an R and come back and tell me it's boring. They've moved on since the mk4/5... by a long long way!

It's a standalone sealant mate. Requires no top ups etc and so much more forgiving that some other sealants. I cannot comment on total durability sadly.

We've worked on quite a few now and my cousin has also just taken delivery of his brand new ST2, 3 miles on the clock. The customers I spoke to only one really said he noticed any oil use and only because Ford told him at it's first service. Asked my cousin to keep me up to date on his.

Even just using some CarPro Tar X mate once or twice without iron remover will help so much. It won't just remove tar, it'll remove more than just tar from the paintwork.

Nowt wrong with asking. Something like an IX and Hydro2 lite bundle might be advantageous.

It usually isn't much tbf. Margins aren't big on products that aren't rebranded/rebottled etc.

Weird that you got to efforts of 2 buckets but not de contaminating. I've seen colours transform before even drying then just with good decontamination. :)

The likes of Amigo, blackmax, backhoe, EZ creme and others is there is no bite by hand or on rougher paint. Tripple etc and lime Prime for eg bite and cleanse and fill by hand hence the finish being much better. It's like taking a rough car and using Srp vs Amigo, SRP would piss it as it has...

My Brother's laptop is currently on the fritz just starts up like this... Then... Even in safe mode it tries to do it! Any help? Even factory restore or similar wipe clean? I think it's running Vista. Help!!!!
