my 1.2 gets about 33-35mpg, but a fair bit of that is in traffic, so bound to be pretty bad!
also, i like to give it a bit of right foot to the speed limit!
dutty_112, i think your car has to be the all out best on the site!
personally i think you shgould have left the centres green, love'd how it stood out!
but fairs does if you want a change mate!
i think 60mm might be your limit mate, but will look so good, before i bought my turbines i was considering turbos, but alwaysd thought they were really expensive for some reaosn, but even brand new i could get them for £60 a wheel 15 x 7!
get them, will look so good when the car is lowered...
like middo said it depends on how low you go, ive got turbines on my car with no spacers(not sure on offset) but lowered about 60mm and the rear arches are just over the tyres, so if i did put spacers on the they would rub, but i think they are 40somethign offset...

just to make note i am 18 with 1NCB on my policy aswell!
did the front of mine today thanks to the guide i found on here, worked a treat, its really easy to do to be honest, i didnt struggle at all, apart from killing my hands!!
shouldnt be too much to be honest, what car u got in mind??
it doesnt always go on the quotes, best was is to ring up and fnd, i nearly bought an astra, would have cost me £3000 on a policy, but switching with my clio which i payed £1800 for, for 4months of the remaining policy would have cost...

personally i wouldnt go for the GT as i probably wouldnt use all of the crap on it, but if u get a decent price for it with the extra's then go for it!
