I've always found my 182 had a bit of crap reception for some of the weaker radio stations. If you've already got bad reception , fitting an inline booster of some sort probably won't fix it . You need to start with your aerial . The small Honda ones are crap , I had one years ago and binned...
The last few times I've bought tyres its been alot cheaper than elsewhere. 2 Avon ZV7's delivered £125.60 . Even that small local tyre place I use has said to buy the Rainsports from Camskill and they'll fit them for £10 a corner. 2 Avons fitted at f1autocentres is £168.91
Ahhhhh I get it now . The Avon ZV7 is the current Avon tyre on offer so it's not an older tyre that could have been lying on a shelf somewhere, i think , lol .
Yeah they do . But you're not gonna know the date they were manufactured until you had them delivered . That goes for any tyre , any online retailer or tyre place. It's not something that ever crosses my mind .Bit of a strange statement from @Touring_Rob
Tell me about it lol . The fronts are die for a change very soon . They're pushing 7000 miles , mainly because I ran them for the first 1000 miles or so on the rear before moving them to the front. I never had a problem with them entering a motorway in the wet on a sweeping bend , they never...
I've just been totting up how many sets of Rainsport 3's I've gone through in the last 25k miles , 5 sets ?. I don't do lots of miles , but the miles I do I like to push on a bit. That's why I've always gone for the RS3's , cos it pisses down alot here in the Northwest. I'm seriously considering...
I always buy the XL version with the stiffer sidewalls and run them with 35 psi front and 32 psi rear. They are very soft , so the wear rate isn't the best. I guess that's the compromise between getting good mileage or good wet weather grip . I prefer the latter . I find them pretty decent in...
I think the OP answered his own question " The car is a daily driver so the PS3 have been fantastic all rounder so far. " He's found a tyre that he's more than happy with so why not stick with that tyre. Does it matter if the tyre is an old design if it does what it says on the tin. If they...
Saw them earlier when I checked out other things for sale . Looks like one of the those roadside "dealers" . Bradford and the sellers name would put me off straight away.
Like @flebay said. They don't seem to wear , I'm still on my original too , 12 and half years later . I've never seen any posts about changing them or uprated ones.
You're right 54mm non cup, 60mm cup . Why don't you measure yours whilst you got it up on the axle stands.

When my original battery packed up , that was 8 years old too , I had no lights on the dash , just the immobiliser light flashing . RAC bloke came out , jump started it to get me home. Does your central locking still work from the key fob? Mine wouldn't even lock the doors due to lack of power...
