Just nipped out and checked mine and they're exactly the same . Both front and rear passenger side the tread is going up as in the OP's pic , drivers side front and rear the tread is the opposite way as in the OP's pic. Personally I think they're a brilliant tyre in both the wet and dry ...
The Cambelt , Aux belt , Dephaser and Water pump service etc ........ is really the major thing . Lots of other minor things on cars that are 10+ years old . Injectors seem to be quite a common problem lately on the forum . Lambda sensors , tdc sensors , brake calipers seizing ........ all...
It's due the major service now , if you go off Renaults 5 year recommendation . According to the MOT history, 60k miles was June 2011. So you're looking at another £600 on top of the £2500 straight away. The one @imprezaworks mentioned has s**t loads of history , receipts , lots of money spent.
So what did the dealership actually say or mean when they said they'd look after you ? Are they going to fix the engine or just investigate what went wrong ?
No aftermarket exhaust or backbox will sound as quiet as the original . 3 years isn't a long time for the standard back box to rot through though . Stainless is the only way to go , it'll last llonger than car itself. As said Miltek or Scorpion 192 is about as quiet as you'll get for an after...
If they do fob you off , ring Renault Customer services . 0344 335 0000. Even if the belt is 1 month out of warranty , it shouldn't fail . It needs to be looked at why it was defective , bearing in mind the service interval is 3 years or 36,000 miles for the Aux belt which it should easily out...

Stuck on with double sided...
I've been using this one for the past 18 months or so . It's never come loose from the window once in all that time , unlike other suction holders I've had over the years .

Sorry to hear about your car , not good :unamused: The first thing I'd do would be contact the dealership that did the service . It needs investigating why it should fail in such a short space of time and hardly any miles . I wouldn't let anybody else touch it until the dealer has looked at it.
Cracking looking motor , shame about the fag burns . You can get a smart repair done . I had one done on my old 172's seat that had a fag burn . It was totally invisible afterwards. Your seats might be a bit of a b*****d to match though . It's worth looking online for car seat smart repairs in...
It looks clean enough . Lots of people will want a comprehensive service history with proof of belts etc ...... It's only worth what somebodys willing to pay . If I was putting it up for sale I'd put it up for around £3750 with a view to getting around £3500 ish. Excuse my ignorance . But whats...
The last time I took mine I rang Mick first . He was busy , he said send a message through his website stating what work I required , then he rang me back later that day . Message him first , leave your contact details etc ....... and take it from there . But like you say , he does get very...
You're probably better off getting Mick to sort it when you get it serviced . He'll give your car the once over and let you know about any other problems you might have. He won't give you any Bullshit , just tell you what needs doing . The green indicator on a battery means sod all . It's only...
I'd actually booked mine in for its major service , all the belts etc with Mick at Diamond motors ......... Only when I'd had all that done did he discover how bad the water pump was. Renault on the last major service had actually used a none genuine water pump which had only lasted about 28K ...
Looks fine to me . It does look ever so slightly out of line , but that'll be determined by how your exhaust sits on the hangers in the middle and rear of your exhaust . How is the exhaust clamp between the centre section and the other end of the De cat ? Personally I think the whole design is a...
I'm not sure about the first pic . But the 2nd pic won't be Mintex discs , just pads , it's cleverly worded to make it sound like the whole package is made by Mintex . Alot of the adverts ebay mislead you in this way.
Just go with standard Brembo HC discs , pads and OE rear discs with the...
I've had a couple of sets on RS2's on my 182 and liked them , now I'm on my 2nd set of RS3's . Both the 2's and 3's can feel quiet squirmy at first , It's something you get used to with time . With the RS2's I upped the tyre presure a few psi . Also with the RS3's I made sure I got the higher 87...
I ran mine with a rattling dephaser for a good 12 months . I took it to Mick at Diamond motors , lucky that I did actually , because the water pump was on It's way out too . So the answer to your question is yes , if it is the dephaser , which is highly likely from the description of it sounding...
