M8 has been out for a while, if you don't want to go for the Note 4 size wise which is the new king of spec then a iPhone 6 would probably be my shout. Maybe feel quite restrictive after years with Android. LG G3, Sony Z3 etc. Z3 is new. Moto X?

I was always wary of camera apps, not sure why. Guess it was my thinking, how can you make a better picture just by having a different app, camera etc is still the same.

Ah I didn't take much of an interest until the M8 and G3 as they were all a bit average compared to my iPhone at the time. They need a proper new phone then with topline spec... M9 or similar.

Wuuuuut! They can be fixed for less than a grand if the mech unit fails? You know this Dave. A friend's V6 TT dsg went a few years back, cost him less than a grand to fix and did another 40k before selling for a mk2.

Nothing really specially. I always wonder how they sell enough low end phones to justify them. Same goes for Samsung and Sony etc.

I just can't see the next flagship HTC coming until next year (M9) a small facelift yes but not a full new phone. The camera upgrade seems quite paramount to them. Interesting article here...
