Right. need some things clearing up... if i buy a key say off ebay with all innards in etc but has been programmed to another car - can it be re programmed? is it true i have to get my immobiliser key code from renault? Whats a decent price for a new key (not paying 150 renault price)...

Where do you go about finding codes for immobiliser? my locksmith wants 80 quid for a complete key if i have codes. think there is a code of sorts in my service book... what does one look like?

My car has had a bee sting aeiral on it ever since i bought it. subsequently i haven't had any radio because the aerial is really crap!... the radio works when i hold the aeriel as its using me as the antenna... anyway on to the question - what would you lot suggest is the best aerial for good...

purchased these adaptors from auto leads.com PC99-x12 Renault PC99-ALP i know these are the correct leads. my car has the dash display. the stalks work fine with my alpine unit. but i cant get the display to work. it only shows the time and temp. followed the instructions exactly as they told...

The cable you have will probably only work with an alpine head unit but you can buy pioneer cables aswell. if you reconnect your head unit you will need a code which you will find on a sticker on the inside of your service booklet. the original head units are pants in my opinion and dont really...

when ever i plug both RCA cables into my amp, the amp will turn on then off then on then off (really annoying.) if i take one out however it stays on like its supposed to works fine... is this safe, and any idea why its doing this?thanks

You can buy almost any aftermarket stereo but it needs to be quiet a big brand name... Pioneer, alpine, kenwood (you get the drift)... then you buy the interface cables for them which are about 35 quid. plug and play

alright guys and gals... few problems with my little clio :) when i turn right hard the front left wheel makes a wierd, wining rubbing noise and it only does it when i turn corners quiet fast... Also (dont know if its anything major) when i reverse in the car there is white smoke that comes...

my pal had this on his clio... in the end it went off on its own. never got to bottom of it :S
