TBf the 2500's are better balanced IMO. At Oulton there was a lad running the CL's, braking performance was no better than mine, just a lot noisier/dirtier.
Both race pads, just one's less compromised day to day.
Very good ride, even Shelley noticed! Front end is a bit strange at the moment, running plenty of toe in (just as it ended up when they were put on) but that's being rectified today.

All the cooper s works I've driven have been averaging 24-25mpg. Certainly no worse than a FRS. The new turbo engine is better, but the chassis/steering is better on the 1st gen cars. Just bin the runflats on day one.
In September 2008 the European Commission adopted a proposal for a Directive that will introduce dedicated daytime running light (DRL) on all new types of passenger cars and small delivery vans from February 2011 onwards. Trucks and buses will follow from August 2012 onwards.
Cracking cars. Far better everyday proposition than a Rarri/Lambo.
