Spring and shock setup- circa £300-400- suggestions

Vmaxx don't fit a 182FF (ie with cup suspension). Koni adjustables + eibach's for that price.

    Valver advice

Got a friend looking at a Valver, and I know nothing about them. Car seems solid, but on start up having been sat for a day or so he said that there is a small tapping noise, once it is walm it goes away and is fine, it only seems to happen when it has been sitting for a few days not being used...

    1100miles, 1 awesome track!!

Wish I could get over, looks awesome. One thing thats bothered me recently, is it worth it? I read about a lot of people going and only getting a few laps in, is it worth it given the hassle getting over there? Can you only do 1 lap at a time?

    £1k to spend one a 172

Better to drive, but only slightly. £1k on a 172? 4-5 track days. There's nothing else you'll do that will bring more enjoyment from the car.

Do i tell insurance they have got my details wrong before taking out a policy?

Indeed. Elderly, diabetic, old ladies with Glaucoma have an excellent safety record behind the wheel.

Do i tell insurance they have got my details wrong before taking out a policy?

I'd insure it in an elderley relatives name, and have the annual mileage as 1k.

    Spare in a 182?

    I'm lol'ing so hard!
  25. ForceIndia

Do i tell insurance they have got my details wrong before taking out a policy?

You might not think they would refuse but they would be perfectly within their rights not too. As it was described to me, ignorance is not a valid excuse. Its your responsibility to ensure the details are correct, not theirs.

Do i tell insurance they have got my details wrong before taking out a policy?

Insurance works on declaration of truth. When you sign the paperwork they'll send you are confirming the details. Wrong car, they could quite easily refuse a pay-out.

    Cruise controll

Cruise maintains your speed even if you don't touch the throttle. Speed limiter you still have to apply throttle, but it stops you going above a set speed.
  28. ForceIndia

    Cruise controll

One direction is cruise, one is speed limiter.
