Like you say , not all are silver , but most are , or silverish if they have a zinc coating like EBC's. It's a little bit gimmicky if you ask me though putting a coating on the disc as like i said before , most of it wears off except for a tiny bit where the pad doesn't touch the disc .

Its just a black coating . It actually states " black zinc plated " . It'll wear off within a week or so like all zinc coatings do .

It's laughable really . Last years renewal quote was £200 more than the previous years premium . I told them i'd had a better quote and within minutes on the phone they'd beaten it . It was less than the previous years premium . Its like a game " we " play every year lol . More often than not...

I've been with Flux for years , every year their first renewal quote has goes up . I find a better quote then they always beat it . It's just their way of trying to earn a bit of extra cash i guess , hopefully relying on the person to just accept the first quote as so many people do . More...

Stick with the original Cat if you want it quieter , its already a high flowing CAT , decat if you want more noise . You " might " gain a couple of bhp with the decat , but nothing that you'll ever notice . Anyne who says any different is living in fairy dairy land .

I have a decat on my yozzasport exhaust and can honestly say i didnt notice any difference in power whatseover , i didnt really expect it to tbh but i got the decat cheap ;) , but it does make it hell of alot louder .

This is Rover Stone grey , nearest match i could find . Even then , the guy who mixed it had to tweak it slightly by adding a bit of extra red to make it a perfect match . Like i said in my post above . This is the place to buy ixell paint from . They used to supply it from spraying...

I still think the weight increase will be the size of a large turd , which in terms of performance and handling will mean Jack s**t .

No need to sand the colour coats , only if you have any blemishes or runs . Just lacquer over the top .

Like Joeh says . See if you can get hold of standard CAT , it'll be alot quieter then . I've just changed mine back for the MOT and tbh i don't think the decat does bugger all thats noticeable other than that make it louder on my Yozzasport exhaust .

Passenger seat doesn't adjust for height , only back and forwards and seat back tilt . Tilt the seat back if their heads gettin' in the way and tell em to move their bloody head as well ;)

You paid £10 for 25ml ? :eek: You can get a 400ml rattle can made up for about £7 , then just spray a bit in the lid and use a c0cktail stick like you did ;) To the OP , Marv-c , as long as you have the paint code any automotive shop that mixes paint can mix you some up , and i wouldn't bother...

There are 2 , one pre CAT and one in the CAT , you only have to buy one . You could either get it reset ( turn light off ) at a dealership , or maybe a local mechanic can do the same . Or you could buy a OBD2 scanner for about £23 off ebay ...

2 x 13mm on the exhaust clamp , then 2 x 10mm (M6) bolts to exhaust manifold . As long as you can gain access to the exhaust from your ramps its easy enough . Getting your lambda sensor out of your CAT might not be as easy lol , thats if your gonna fit it to your de cat pipe . You might...

I'd check the joint between your exhaust and CAT , or exhaust manifold and CAT isn't leaking . Mine is ever so slightly and the lambda level was higher than last year , borderline fail .

I'm assuming you mean the warranty on your car ? i.e. mechanical , body work etc ... If so , no it won't .
