I'm not a massive fan of the tat exterior but i'm into polishing with seamen. Also did the guy use a spray gun at any point? Pure powder coat looks rather pure on it's own. Very coarse.

I like a proper dark slick shine off mine. I use a german applicator cut in 2. Lasts longer than a normal sponge. Had my current piece for 2 years. Soaks the product in eventually so next time you don't need to use much product.

I just wish I understood 1% of the jargon. :(

Re: 1M Akrapovic You cannot compare that V8 to the Turbo'd 6. If the E92 had been built when the 1M was it wouldn't be running a V8. The new M3 is running the same motor as the 1M, does it detract from the car? Harris certainly doesn't think so.

Base sealants like Z2 etc. No spray sealants. Base sealants are a very different beats. Jetseal 109 used to go under everything. Spray sealants if anything would go over wax. TC is quite solventy from memory so I wouldn't want it over my Glasur. At this time of year i'd be looking for Glasur...

If you don't buff revive properly it will streak/run etc mate that's all. Not sure why you used TC and Glasur? And in that order. One or the other would be fine. Also look at Junkman's videos for priming panels aswell as the pad. 4 pea sided blobs, spread at speed 1 then stop, just enough...

Re: 1M Akrapovic The 1M has grown on me a lot. Is a special car, it feels special and it looks special. BMWs in the most part leave me a tad cold but the 1M is unique imo.

Have you seen the ones that slide onto your visor? Very clever, not amazing but for a simple solution and cheap they are perfect.

Entirely different mate. Get from the carpro site with the discount code, they are one of the cheapest on the net. You'll notice a proper difference straight away. Indeed mate, even repair and sell on to recoup some cash. 2ND hand DAs hold their money okay.

The only thing aiming me towards a 6 is the fact the S5 will have been out for months by the time the 6 is out. Lets just hope the screen will be adequate size, even S4 size.
