jon with the 172 conversion had a 50bhp shot on his 1.2 16v said it was fukin rapid untill it blew a piston thru the block. to be honest your talking about £800 to have it supplyed and fitted, if you look about you can buy a 172 engine for that, and if your handy and can fit it yourself then...

i get usually between 300 and 350 miles but sometimes get near 400 if i drive like my mum lol

ive done 122k on the standard gearbox oil might change it this weekend, but would be better waiting untill ive done the gearbox mount first so i can feel if the oil makes a difference as changing gears is a bit of a mission with this fuked gearbox mount lol i cant get mine into first when...

id do as edde says, uprated shocks, springs and Poly bushes, then think about a strut brace

need to replace the bushes, dont know if anyone makes uprated ones for the MK1, i know K-Tec do for the MK2

doesnt look that bad, although id put the standard rear lights back on and DEFO get rid of they reg plate surround things

id just use a 15" dynamique wheel, i dont even have a spare in mine took it out to save weight but might stick a dynamique wheel in to save the hastle if i get a puncture
