Definitely go for CQUK again mate. It's so easy to use and so well priced. Gives a great base for BSD or any other protection. :)
It will polish up fine mate. A decent polish will remove it via machine.
Megs MF pads still seem best to me. I prefer hex pads but different strokes.
Stunning Andy. One of your best finishes to date imo. The colour helps of course.
It's actually better looking that an RS as the extras are black instead of garish Silver. :)
Wheels aren't for that but what a lovely machine. RS looks with TT running costs.
Oh and I HATE people who put old...
Tardis, then ideally clay then polish. Tardis will remove tar and some crap, clay will get the ingrained s**t. You can also add Iron X in there but may be overkill depending on level of detail you're in to.
Plenty of good foaming cleaners, autosmart do one. Personally i'd find a local valeting place with a wet/dry vac and get it done properly. extraction/foam is the only way. You'll just end up with wet seats otherwise.
Desire is nice to use i'll admit, it feels a little more boutique and the colour etc helps... but, I know it's not really a limited boutique wax and at that price it needs to be special imo.
I say it time and time again the AF brand just feels very diluted. Temptation, soul, passion.. I couldn't actually tell you the differences or where they sit in the range. I'm not saying they're not nice to use but i'd rather have a pot of Finis Wax or even a nice Dodo Juice one.
Maybe I wax lyrical about it too much but my God it offers a lot for a hot hatch. Look at the running costs of a clio 200 that you had, tax, insurance, fuel (I know you have done this) Or a Corsa VXR etc etc.
This is what people want and that's what the manufacturers need to do if they want...
The mpg and road tax cost is astounding. It's going to be a great buy for years to come imo.
Anyone know the road tax on the Clio 200T? Being auto might be cheap also.
Silicone hides a lot, hence why the valeter wants it. Can't be used where any painting occurs. Garages plaster cars in silicone polishes, it's a nightmare to remove from anywhere and if left on. Bloody hate the stuff.
None the less if the valeter wants it!
The car should look better after a detail than just out the paintshop.
The body shouldn't "even itself out either". Weird post. Infact the whole thread is mental!
Omgz Heavenly Detail... Is that a flying snowman.
