^^^ You wet sanded the paint ? You don't need to wet sand the colour coat , only if you have some runs or imperfections . Just lacquer over the colour coat .
Off the top of my head i think the originals are only 420 amps . They are a bit of an odd bod size , quite small . I replaced the one on my 172 with a varta one , 3 years warranty , cost about £38 from a local motor factors .
^^^ Best bet really . I had a seized rear caliper , the adjuster screw had rusted inside . I stripped it down , sanded the rust off and greased it but it was a ballache of a job tbh . The caliper works fine now .
Lie the wheel down when your spraying it and either spin the wheel or if you can work round the wheel spray it that way to get at the spokes .
Tbh tho' mate , black wheels can look shite if you don't maintain your tyres on a regular basis .
Poorboys bold n bright for your tyres ...
I don't like the touch up paint from Renault , it seems slightly too thick .
I prefer to get an aerosol mixed up , spray a little bit into the the lid and fill the chip with a c0cktail stick then wet sand .

My reply was actually tongue in cheek old fella ;) It was more of a dig at the subject of the thread as some people on here think the 1*2's are invincible lol .
Race him mate then you'll have the answer to your question . Clio 172 vs. Audi S3...in the bends?
Then we might also see a new post . " Just wrote off my 172 , breaking for spares " ;)
What a pointless thread :quiet:
Are you sure you haven't deactivated the auto lights ?
Put your key in the ignition , turn to the first position then turn your sidelights on / off / on / off quickly . You should hear a beep when they are activated / deactivated .
I've used a flexi blade for years with no problems . As long as the car and blade are spotlessly clean you shouldn't have a problem . Saves hell of alot of time drying the car :)
It's not a wash n wax as the name suggests ,lol . Try it mate . Its the best stuff i've found , not too many suds but very slick .

Looking at that pic , it's barely touched the tyre . I'd still use it if it was mine .
I've just had a tyre repaired that ATS said couldn't be repaired . Was about 40mm in from the tyre wall . They wanted £149 for a new Exalto fitted  i just laughed and said no thanks lol . My friendly...
You want some of this CAF . Its very strong and won't crush .

Also their website . http://www.venairsport.co.uk/index.php?cPath=49
I think they are a member on CS .
It would have been a bargain at that price , but tbh i would never pay that sort of money for something on ebay cos there are too many dodgy people and scammers about using the site nowadays .
I'd stick it on a dedicated car selling website like autotrader or pistonheads .
