Think it's about £350+ removal and refitting, then you got to decide is it worth putting a new clutch in to.

My 172 box also crunches like a b**ch in 3rd, I managed to get a 182 box from ebay for £250 hoping to pop it in, but heard a few stories about the bearings breaking etc so it's still just sat in the garage. RichMmc had his rebuilt by yozzasport and seems happy.
